If you want to know what was the era of modern? One answer certainly is a synthetic era. Almost all of our equipment is made of synthetic materials ranging from household appliances to the food. We eat everyday, like artificial flavoring, orange, artificial dyes, and others.
Currently the United States researchers (Craig Venter and team) claim that they are developing synthetic cell in their reasearch. They are developing synthetic living bacterial cells that can develop themselves. Craig Venter claim “We call this cell synthetic because really drawn from the synthetic chromosome, made up of four bottles of aligning the chemical, from the information in the computer.”
Future benefits of this research is expected this research can find ways to produce biofuels or bacteria that can break down oil spills at sea. From this research is also expected to create algae to absorb carbon dioxide to reduce the greenhouse effect and to global warming and renewable energy can also find a more clean and efficient.
As in the journal Science, the results of this research is also very important for the medical world such as the production of vaccines or new food ingredients. Venter said that could at will allow us to design in biology.
But this study certainly got pros and cons. Is still a debate, whether this will be bomerang for natural living things? because throughout history, synthetic materials such as double-edged knife, one side benefit to us, but on the other side can also be cold-blooded killer.

Like our bodies, computers are also vulnerable to attacks like alien objects that could damage or interfere with the system so it does not run as usual. The medical world has known many diseases that attack humans are caused by viruses or bacteria. Viruses and bacteria have many different ways of transmission. One of the frequently baffled medical experts are not transmitted directly but through an intermediary carrier transmission is often called “carrier”.
Carrier has been infected with certain viruses or bacteria but does not show symptoms of the disease while others can be easily attacked. This carrier can pass on human and animal. One of the transmission model is demonstrated by the bacterium Salmonella typhi causes typhoid fever.
Apparently, a computer virus is now also started to vary the transmission. This virus started to take the ways of transmission of these viruses can infect humans, such as using a carier in its distribution.

Recently discovered computer viruses that attack the virus is indicated as “Typhoid adware”. The virus, named Typhoid Mary (The name is derived from the name of the first carrier in the United States) only attack specific computers as the carrier. When iPhone arrived in Indonesia, Telkomsel is only one provider that can sell iPhone. But many people in Indonesia was disappointed because iPhone was very expensive and iPhone was locked by Telkomsel. Because of that, many iPhone user in Indonesia thing it is so hard to use iPhone in Indonesia especially if they want to go to the other country.
Before iPhone was launching in Indonesia, many people in Indonesia waiting it and save their money jut for iPhone. But when they know about price and iPhone was locked just for one provider, most of them cancelled their plan to buy iPhone.
Because of that cases, Telkomsel will unlock iPhone 3GS and also iPhone 3G. iPhone 3GS is a new edition of iPhone that will be release with two kind of their capacity, 16GB and 32GB. They have two choices of colors are black and white. Telkomsel will release it on February 2010 and they claim that iPhone 3GS is cheaper.

Apple said, in few months later, Apple is going to release iPod Nano that use nano technology. iPod is very easer to use it because it has small size, lighter, and very stylish. Now, with iPod, you can hear the big music with a small gadget.
